Hiking

Section or day hiking in Kennedy Meadows on the PCT is a great way to spend the day(s).  The Wild Rose Trail is also an interesting hike just before the campground and the PCT.  Another full day hike or overnight is Jordan Hot Springs up past the Blackrock Ranger Station.  

OHV Single Track Trails

There are a ton of trails to ride on and get lost for days if you want.  Disbursed camping is plentiful for large trailers and groups as well.  

Camping

There are three main campgrounds in Kennedy Meadows, Kennedy Meadows CG, Fish Creek, & Troy Meadows.  There are also plenty of disbursed camping off trails like, Hooker, Jackass, & Monache Meadows. 

Snowmobile Riding

Snowmobile riding is popular when we get lots of snow.  The trails are groomed after the first snow.

Fishing

There is fishing in the South Fork of the Kern River, just one mile from the General Store.   There are also a variety of great spots to fish in the higher country.  Come check it out!

Jeep Trails

There are lots of roads to explore in your 4X4.  The most popular in Monache Jeep Trail.  Beautiful Scenery, South Fork Kern River, and plenty of challenging trails.
