Hiking

There are a ton of trails to ride on and get lost for days if you want.  Disbursed camping is plentiful for large trailers and groups as well.  

There are three main campgrounds in Kennedy Meadows, Kennedy Meadows CG, Fish Creek, & Troy Meadows.  There are also plenty of disbursed camping off trails like, Hooker, Jackass, & Monache Meadows. 

Snowmobile riding is popular when we get lots of snow.  The trails are groomed after the first snow.

There is fishing in the South Fork of the Kern River, just one mile from the General Store.   There are also a variety of great spots to fish in the higher country.  Come check it out!

There are lots of roads to explore in your 4X4.  The most popular in Monache Jeep Trail.  Beautiful Scenery, South Fork Kern River, and plenty of challenging trails.

Every year in August we have Cowboy Days.  We have a horseback poker ride, Events, a Live Band, and Ribeye Steak Dinner.  There are also lots of spaces to bring your horses and park/camp and ride the many trails we have in Kennedy Meadows.
